The NCCP Oncology Medication Safety Review (2014) recommended that there should be national agreement on the minimum key personnel required for an oncology/haematology day unit in relation to scope of service and the essential qualifications/experience of these key staff.
Guidance on the minimum personnel was produced by the NCCP in June 2015.
